Founded in 2017, Three of Cups is a micropublisher, championing marginalised and minority voices.
We share a vision for a more equal, more peaceful, more inclusive world and we are dedicated to providing a platform for voices otherwise unheard in the mainstream.
Our first project is a series of anthologies, the first of which is titled ‘On Anxiety’. These anthologies provide a platform for writers and artists and a starting point on how to tackle issues such as mental health, our relationships with our bodies, political activism and more.
Our long-term goal is to commission and publish individual projects. We’re interested in all formats including short fiction, novels, literary non-fiction, theatre, poetry and art catalogues.
We believe that art and literature can be activism. In pursuit of a more fair, more equal world, all of our contributors are paid for their work.
Our publishing is fully or partially funded by Kickstarter, which not only covers the costs of printing but also ensures all our writers and artists are paid, and a percentage of our net profits go towards charity.
